Shipping Policy
FREE UK DELIVERY OVER £50
All UK orders over £50 are shipped Royal Mail Tracked 48, free of charge. Coffee orders can be upgraded to express shipping for an additional charge.
FREE UK DELIVERY ON SUBSCRIPTION ORDERS
All UK subscription coffee orders are eligible for free delivery which will automatically be added at the checkout once an address has been entered.
DISPATCH
- Orders are dispatched Monday-Friday and we aim to despatch in-stock orders within 48hrs.
- We are closed on weekends, bank holidays and public holidays. Orders will be processed on the next business day.
CLICK + COLLECT
- We now offer pickup from the roastery for selected products.
- Orders are processed Monday-Friday (excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) and can take up to 48hrs to process.
- You will receive an email with pickup details when your order is ready to collect.
- Please do not visit until you have been informed your order is ready for pickup as you will be turned away.
UK DELIVERY
- Delivery pricing is calculated at the checkout once your delivery address has been entered.
- Some items are dispatched direct from suppliers, so ship in separate orders.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
- We now ship Studio Black products internationally via Royal Mail International Tracked delivery. Please enter your address at the checkout and it will calculate the price based on your delivery location.
- Coffee brewing equipment and tools cannot be shipped internationally at the moment.
- Costs vary based on package weight and destination country. Currently, we can only ship parcels up to 2kg. Please see below for details on customs and import taxes.

CUSTOMS + IMPORT TAXES
Studio Black Limited does not accept responsibility for customs clearance or any import tax, country-specific customs charges or local country/area tax. Please check with your local customs before purchasing.
SHIPPING ESTIMATES
- Shipping and/or despatch times, dates and estimations are rough guides to indicate shipping speed by the courier and are not guaranteed.
- Studio Black cannot be held liable if delays are incurred by the courier as well as due to peak seasons, public holidays, extreme weather or other unprecedented circumstances.
DELIVERY ADDRESSES + SAFE PLACES
- It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure delivery addresses are correct and there are provisions for the shipment to be signed for and accepted from a courier. Studio Black cannot be held accountable for any fees imposed by couriers for missed deliveries or for items returned to us due to missed deliveries or undeliverable addresses.
- Delivery addresses are automatically applied to shipping labels exactly as they were entered at the checkout by the customer. Please ensure you enter the correct shipping address and contact details as Studio Black cannot be held responsible for any errors entered by the customer.
- Where special delivery instructions or 'safe place' arrangements have been made, these become the responsibility of you, the customer.
- Studio Black Limited accept no responsibility for goods being delivered to an incorrect address supplied by you or left in any 'safe place'.
PRODUCTS SHIPPED FROM SUPPLIERS
- Some of our products are shipped directly from our friends at local suppliers so they will go straight from the warehouse to your front door.
- If you are ordering multiple items, your order may appear with more than one shipping cost.
SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
- Studio Black products are sent in recycled, fully recyclable cardboard mailers.
- Larger Studio Black products are sent in fully recyclable cardboard boxes, sealed using recyclable kraft parcel tape.
TRACK YOUR ORDER
All orders are shipped fully-tracked via Royal Mail, DPD and DHL. Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive an email with tracking details. If you've not received yours, please email us at hello@studioblackcoffee.co.uk
GROUND COFFEE
Customers ordering ground coffee accept that there is occasionally a few grams of loss during the grinding process.

Refund Policy
RETURNS & REFUNDS
- If you’d like to return a product for a refund, you must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Returns requested between 14 and 28 days after delivery will be eligible for store credit only.
- To arrange a return, please use our online returns portal here or just email us at support@studioblackcoffee.co.uk with:
- Your order number
- The reason for your return
- A photo of the product or packaging – you must include a clear photo of the product and/or packaging to help us assess your return request.
- Once approved, we’ll issue a free return label. Refunds or store credits will be processed once we receive the item back.
Any item sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
DAMAGES AND ISSUES
- Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
- Issues cannot be rectified after the 28-day cooling off period.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
- Certain items cannot be returned, like personalised, bespoke or perishable goods. This includes all roasted coffee beans, which are considered perishable goods and cannot be resold once opened or handled due to food safety regulations. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
- We cannot cancel any orders once they have been dispatched, but it may be possible to cancel if your order has not left the roastery yet.
- If you think you've made a mistake or need to cancel, please email us at hello@studioblackcoffee.co.uk and we will see what we can do.
REFUNDS
- We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.
- If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
- Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
- If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@studioblackcoffee.co.uk
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Returned items must be in resalable condition. We reserve the right to deny returns that show signs of use, wear, or damage.
- All returns and exchanges are subject to approval. Refunds will not be issued for products that have been opened, used, or tampered with, unless the product is found to be faulty or not as described.
- You don’t need to pay for returns, but we do ask that you have a genuine reason.
- This policy applies only to purchases made directly through our website.
- We reserve the right to deny returns or exchanges in cases where we believe the policy is being misused or where there is evidence of repeat or fraudulent activity. Decisions will be made at our sole discretion.
- This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
