Sul de Minas, Brazil & Tarrazú, Costa Rica

This blend brings together two renowned coffee landscapes. Sul de Minas rolls across the Mantiqueira foothills, where mild mountain weather, fertile soils and a mosaic of family farms support dependable, high-quality harvests. Tarrazú sits higher and cooler on volcanic slopes south of San José; steep valleys and crisp nights slow the ripening of cherries, which are then handpicked and moved to small mills for controlled fermentation and long sun-drying on raised beds.

Family Estates & Independent Producers

Golden Hour draws on producers defined by discipline and intent. In Brazil’s Sul de Minas, family estates such as Fazenda Santa Rosa pair Rainforest Alliance standards with patient sun-drying to lay a reliable base. In Costa Rica’s Tarrazú, the Arias family at Finca Casa de Piedra refine a family-secret anaerobic process through controlled, small-lot experimentation. The result is an autumnal blend where stewardship meets innovation.
